Pat Lucas

Pat brings a wealth of experience from working across a variety of settings with children and young people. She spent over nine years as a Local Authority Foster Carer and has six years’ experience in Secondary education, where she worked as a Learning Support Assistant, Information Advice & Guidance (IAG) Advisor and Cover Supervisor.

Pat has also held key roles within Residential and Leaving Care services totalling nine years, and previously served as Deputy Manager and more recently as a Registered Homes Manager within children’s residential care.

Pat holds the now-obsolete CWDC, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, and a PTLLS Level 4 qualification in teaching. She is currently working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Pat is particularly skilled in building strong, trusting relationships with young people and excels in supporting their social and emotional development. She also places a strong emphasis on the care team's development and wellbeing.
