
Keeley Heaton
Deputy Manager
Keeley Heaton has worked within the public sector for Leeds City Council for the past 20 years. Starting off with a college apprenticeship in a Nursery gaining a City & Guilds NVQ level 2 in Early Years Care & Education. In 2003 Keeley started working for the West Specialist Inclusive
Learning Centre as a learning support assistant. Keeley worked with a wide variety of children and young adults between the ages of 3-19 with complex needs communication and autism, MLD and SEMH. Keeley has gained an NCFE level 2 in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges and was promoted to HLTA in 2018.
Keeley has a level 6 diploma in Careers Guidance and development & a QCF level 6 certificate in Careers Leadership to support young adults within the West SILC helping school and college leavers.
In 2023, Keeley had a change of career and worked in children's residential care home as a Senior Care Worker in a solo 2:1 residential setting, caring for children with a range of needs. During her time there, she was promoted to the role of Deputy Manager. Keeley is currently working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
